Central Badminton Competition Details

 

First time players are required to attend grading tryout sessions

DOUBLES (B-C club grade) - Tuesday

 

 Teams consist of 4 players (any gender)  who will compete over a 2.25 hour time limit, playing 3 doubles matches (2 games to 21 points) against the opposing team. Each player in the team plays one match with each other member of their team every week. 

 

The season will be either 2 rounds of 3 matches plus a final between 1 v 2 - if there are 4 teams entered in the grade, OR one round of 5 matches plus a final between 1 v 2 – if there are 6 teams entered in the grade. The approximate cost would be $15.00 per player per night to cover court hire/shuttles/BV Registration/Trophies.

SINGLES (B-C club grade) - Wednesday

SINGLES (C-D club grade) - Thursday

SINGLES  (D-E club grade) - Monday

Teams consist of 2 players (any gender) who will compete over a 2 hour time limit, playing two singles matches (best of 3 games to 15 points) and one doubles match (best of 3 games to 21 points) against the opposing team each night. 

 

The season will be either 2 rounds of 3 matches plus a final between 1 v 2 - if there are 4 teams entered in the grade, OR one round of 5 matches plus a final between 1 v 2 – if there are 6 teams entered in the grade. The approximate cost would be $23.00 per player per night to cover court hire/shuttles/BV Registration/Trophies.
